To give people with blood cancer a second chance at life, DKMS is searching worldwide for suitable stem cell donors. On 12 November 2026, from 9 am to 2 pm, you can easily register at the cafeteria on the Ostfalia Campus in Wolfsburg and have your details added to the database. This is done with a simple cheek swab.

Christian, an Ostfalia employee in the facilities management department, is also urgently awaiting a compatible stem cell donation, as he suffers from aplastic anemia. Christian is a warm, humorous, and helpful person who always has a listening ear for others. His colleagues especially appreciate his calm, reliable nature and his big heart. But now, the person who is usually always there for others is the one who needs support himself.

Together, we can give Christian hope! Register as a potential stem cell donor and help increase his chance at a second life—just as you would for many other people.

Anyone in good health aged between 17 and 55 can register.

More than 13.5 million donors are now registered with DKMS worldwide. Nevertheless, many blood cancer patients who need a transplant are still waiting in vain for a suitable donation. Every single potential stem cell donor counts!
