12. Ostfalia public dialogue series: "Happiness and a fulfilled life"

On Tuesday, 21 April 2026, from 18:00 to 20:00 (admission from 17:30), Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences invites you to the 12th public discussion series in the Audimax on the Wolfsburg campus (Robert-Koch-Platz 5). The event will also be broadcast live on YouTube.

Under this year's guiding theme "Courage to be happy. Courage to break new ground! Courage to let go!", the focus is on findings from positive psychology. The aim of the event is to provide inspiration for a fulfilling life, reflect on social challenges and present practical approaches from science and business.

The programme includes

• an opening by Prof Dr Mike Hoffmeister (moderator), Lord Mayor Dennis Weilmann and representatives of Ostfalia and the Rotary Club, among others,
• Keynote speeches on the topic of "Positive Leadership - Courage for Cultural Change", including on leadership culture and successful transformation in companies,
• a presentation by Thorsten Schildgen on the topic of mental alignment and personal development,
• as well as a panel discussion with experts from the fields of coaching, business and society, who will discuss the courage to change, dealing with crises and personal new beginnings.

Afterwards (until around 9.30 pm), there will be a get-together in the foyer with the opportunity to chat, a book signing and presentations of social projects.

Participation and registration:
Participation is free of charge, registration is not required. Voluntary donations will be collected in favour of children and young people in the region and in South Africa.
