New technologies are playing an increasingly important role in all socially and economically relevant areas of life. One of the most influential technologies is "artificial intelligence". We want to take the controversial debate on this topic as an opportunity to take an interdisciplinary look at the applications and technical foundations of artificial intelligence and its legal and ethical implications.

Under the title "Brave new world? Potentials and challenges of AI", the topic will be examined from various disciplines in the lectures starting on 23 September.

The lecture series is aimed at students from all faculties at Ostfalia and students in the KI4All network of TU Braunschweig, TU Clausthal and Ostfalia, as well as anyone with a deeper interest in the topic of "Artificial Intelligence".

The lectures will take place online in the winter semester 2026/27, every Wednesday from 23 September to 16 December 2026, from 6 to 7:30 pm. Click here for the online lecture. (external link, opens in a new window)
