The BELS Symposium took place for the first time on 29 April 2026.
Students, research assistants and professors came together to discuss current research projects and legal ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.
The event kicked off with Prof. Dr. Ralf Imhof, who presented the legal risks of using AI agents. Prof. Dr. Oliver Kreutz then presented the field of legistics, which is still neglected in Germany. The two presentations were followed by a very lively discussion, which gave the topic further impetus.
The follow-up event will take place at the beginning of the 2026/2027 winter semester and will be open to a wider range of students.
