Around 50 graduates from the past academic year 2025/26 were given a ceremonial farewell by the Dean, Prof Dr Oliver Büchel, and the Dean of Studies, Prof Dr Corinna Klapproth, as part of the Day of the Provider.
Highlight: the supplier awards
A very special highlight followed with the presentation of the specially produced certificates and the faculty's own trophies - the "Versorger Award". This serves as a cross-course and therefore special award with which the faculty honours its best graduates of an academic year.
They were honoured for their outstanding academic achievements:
Versorger Award (Faculty prize) for the best Bachelor's degree (equal points)
Pia Sophie Rissiek B.Eng. and Max Habig B.Eng.
Versorger Award (faculty prize) for the best Master's degree (equal points)
Kimberly Charlotte Bock M.Eng., Svenja Große M.Eng. and Daniel Froitzheim M.Eng.
In addition, the prize money donated by the Advisory Board for Energy and Building Technology and the Advisory Board for Biological and Environmental Engineering totalling 3,200 euros and a book prize were presented.
The ceremony was rounded off with a presentation by Lisa Ostermann M. Eng. In her presentation, the graduate of the Bachelor's degree programme in Biological and Environmental Engineering and the Master's degree programme in Energy Systems Engineering reported on her professional career on the topic of "What happened after my studies". She is currently working at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt in Braunschweig.
The ceremony ended with many happy faces and a lively exchange at the subsequent champagne reception.
