The 5th edition of "Intellectual Property Law", edited by Prof. Dr. iur. Matthias Pierson and Prof. Dr. Oliver Kreutz LL.M. and published by UVK/UTB together with a significantly expanded team of authors, was published on 22 September 2025.

The work offers a comprehensive, practical and academically sound overall presentation of intellectual property law (in particular patents, trade marks and design), copyright law and competition law (UWG). It also contains a detailed presentation of the fundamentals of intellectual property and the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

The new edition takes into account current case law as well as all relevant European and national legal changes since the publication of the previous edition.
