Over the past few weeks, Ostfalia has taken part in four varied running events: the GlückLauf in Salzgitter, the Abendvolkslauf in Uelzen, the 40th Braunschweig Night Run and the Suderburg Evening Run. As well as the sporting challenges, the focus was above all on camaraderie, exercise and the joy of sharing the experience together.
The GlückLauf in Salzgitter kicked things off: despite a few brief rain showers, the atmosphere was positive throughout. The event impressed with its excellent organisation and a pleasant atmosphere, which was greatly enjoyed by all participants. The Ostfalia team also performed well on the sporting front: two second places and a strong 7th place in the team classification were the pleasing results of this day of running.
At the evening fun run in Uelzen, good weather conditions ensured a successful evening of running. The varied event offered numerous wonderful moments and a motivating atmosphere along the route. Feedback from participants was consistently positive – many were pleased with their performances and enjoyed the shared sporting experience.
Another special event was the 40th Braunschweig Night Run organised by MTV Braunschweig 1847. In summery temperatures of 34 degrees, around 14,500 runners took to the starting line. Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences was also represented by a large team: 27 runners rose to the challenge of the demanding conditions and completed the course with great dedication, stamina and team spirit.
The Suderburg Evening Run marked the conclusion of the running series. Ostfalia was represented by two participants at the start. On the varied routes through the heathland and woodland around Suderburg, they were able to enjoy the event’s special atmosphere and represent Ostfalia in sporting fashion.
