Kick-off: The future of commercial vehicles

The commercial vehicle sector is facing a historic change: climate neutrality, new drive technologies and the development of a sustainable infrastructure. This is why the future of the commercial vehicle industry is also an important field of research for ITS mobility (external link, opens in a new window), the largest competence cluster for intelligent mobility in Germany. The non-profit organisation has more than 200 members from business, science, associations, cities and municipalities, including Ostfalia University.

On 17 September, the working group "Hydrogen as a regenerative fuel in commercial vehicles" will present its white paper "The future of commercial vehicles" at the Hydrogen Campus in Salzgitter. It offers a well-founded analysis of the status quo, scenarios for the coming decades and practical transformation paths - open to all technologies and with a special focus on hydrogen as a key technology. The new white paper provides concrete impulses for industry, politics and local authorities on how climate targets can be achieved realistically and ambitiously.
