The Wolfenbüttel Future Prize will be awarded for the first time in 2026 - and Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences has been a committed partner right from the start.
Together with the district of Wolfenbüttel, the Curt Mast Jägermeister Foundation, the city of Wolfenbüttel and the Asse Future Fund Foundation, we are looking for people, initiatives, associations, schools, students, researchers and companies who are contributing to greater sustainability in our region with their ideas and projects.
We are looking for innovative approaches that show how the future can be shaped - for example in the areas of environmental and climate protection, education, social participation, energy, resource conservation or technological change. The size of the project does not matter: even small ideas can have a big impact.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (SDGs) form the basis of the competition. Applications should be based on at least one of these goals and demonstrate how the project contributes to a liveable, fair and sustainable future in our region.
- The Wolfenbüttel Future Prize is endowed with 10,000 euros and offers the opportunity to gain visibility, support and networks for the further development of ideas.
- The closing date for entries is 28 February 2026
