Under the motto "Founding begins at Ostfalia", the Gründen@Ostfalia team, in cooperation with the NachOs (Sustainable Ostfalia) project, invites you to a start-up lunch at the WissensOrt Wolfenbüttel (WOW) on Thursday, 26 March from 10 am to 2 pm. The event is open to anyone interested in setting up a business who is keen to learn about sustainable business ideas, gain exciting insights into the practical side of things and exchange ideas with founders from the region.
Participants can expect a varied programme with personal start-up stories, new contacts, inspiring impulses and tips for their own start-up.
The programme includes inspiration from the local start-up scene:
Carina Heidermann, co-founder and COO of LB.systems GmbH in Salzgitter, will talk about her start-up experiences and encourage people to realise their own ideas or actively help shape young companies.
Another guest is Dominic Thormann, a founder from Braunschweig who wants to make carpooling for concerts and festivals easier and more sustainable with his company ecoTriver.
Tina and Renate Schmidt, the founders of WOKE.UP, will provide a value-orientated example. Their speciality coffee roastery stands for coffee with attitude: electrically roasted, without fossil fuels, packaged in recyclable packaging and sourced exclusively from countries that they can safely travel to as queer people themselves.
Lee Schiewald from Braunschweig MitGründen will moderate the event. She is the project manager of the city centre start-up programme at Braunschweig Zukunft GmbH and an experienced start-up consultant.
In addition, the Gründen@Ostfalia team will provide a compact insight into its offers, support services and contact points for all those who would like to start a business at Ostfalia or would like to orientate themselves first.
