How can digital applications improve healthcare? What new treatment options are opening up? What is the best way for patients to help shape innovations? Questions such as these will be addressed in the opening of the public lecture series of the Faculty of Healthcare at Ostfalia University on Wednesday, 15 October.
Under the title "Wissen:schaf(f)t", the series of four events will highlight current interdisciplinary research and development projects, scientific findings and discourse as well as practical concepts relating to healthcare.
Speakers from the fields of medicine, computer science, nursing and linguistics include
- Prof. Dr. Bianca Steiner (Professor of Digitalisation in Healthcare, Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences)
- Prof. Dr Susanne Völter-Mahlknecht (Professor of Occupational, Social and Preventive Medicine, University Medical Centre Göttingen)
- Prof Dr Günter Meyer (Professor of Psychiatric Nursing, Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences)
- Prof Dr Julia Siegmüller (President of Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences)
The series of events starts on Wednesday, 15 October 2025 at 3.30 pm at the Ostfalia Campus Wolfsburg, Poststraße 19 in lecture hall G116. It is aimed at professionals from the fields of health, education, social affairs and science as well as other interested parties. The other dates are Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on 5 November, 19 November and 17 December.
It is possible to take part online. Registration is not necessary.
