WissensOrte
What does the term ‘WissensOrte’ mean? WissensOrte are sites of knowledge – central meeting places where people come together to exchange knowledge, collaborate and drive innovation. They bring together researchers, students, companies and members of the public to develop new ideas, share research findings and devise practical solutions. These places can be physical spaces, such as libraries, innovation centres and laboratories, or digital platforms that facilitate knowledge exchange.
Their aim is to make knowledge accessible and promote collaborations that support social and technological progress.
WissensOrte at the university
At Ostfalia University, WissensOrte serve as central and easily accessible meeting places that actively promote dialogue between the university and society. They offer space for dialogue, networking and interdisciplinary collaboration, so that companies, citizens, students and researchers can work together on innovative projects.
This is where new ideas are generated, scientific findings are communicated and practical solutions are developed - always with the aim of strengthening regional knowledge transfer and providing sustainable impetus for the future.
