Health Insurance & Semester fees
To begin your studies, you must have submitted the electronic notification from your health insurance provider (M10 notification) and paid the semester fee to Ostfalia.
Please note: You can only begin your studies at Ostfalia once you have transferred the semester fee, submitted the electronic notification from your health insurance company, and uploaded all your enrollment documents.
1. Information on Health Insurance
Please note that you will not receive any paper documents from your health insurance provider. All you need to do is provide your health insurance provider with our university identification number “H0000481” so that your insurance status can be reported online directly from the health insurance provider to the university.

Your enrollment cannot be finalized until you have applied for enrollment in the online application portal, uploaded all necessary documents, and the health insurance company has submitted the electronic notification.
Only after receiving the enrollment confirmation via email, you're an enrolled student at Ostfalia and can download the enrollment and BAföG certificates from the Ostfalia application portal.
