In the Applied Psychology program, you will encounter exciting topics such as Social Psychology, Differential and Personality Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Management. Furthermore, you can expect methodological and statistical training to best prepare you for your thesis and your future career.

1.-3. Term: Foundations of Psychology

The program begins with the origins of the discipline of psychology, which are then explored in greater depth based on individual interests in specific subfields of psychology.

4.-5. Term: Advanced Studies

6. Term: Practical Semester and Bachelor's Thesis

This degree program does not qualify graduates to practice psychotherapy and does not grant access to licensing-compliant training under the Psychotherapist Act or to work as a therapist approved by the statutory health insurance system. 

Admission to the program requires a general university entrance qualification, a subject-specific university entrance qualification, a university of applied sciences entrance qualification, or an equivalent qualification. In addition to the grade point average of the university entrance qualification, a talent particulier for the program is also important. Relevant subjects include Biology, Mathematics, Education/Psychology, Health, English, German, Ethics, and Religion. A preliminary internship or aptitude test is not required.
