After-sales services generate a major share of revenue for vehicle manufacturers — and demand for qualified experts is growing. The ASTP Master’s program at Ostfalia University prepares you for a successful career in this global, fast-paced and future-proof sector.

• One-Time Registration Fee: EUR 1,400

• Tuition Fee - Semester 1: EUR 4,900
• Tuition Fee - Semester 2: EUR 4,900
• Tuition Fee - Semester 3: EUR 3,900
• Extended Study Fee (Semester 5+): EUR 400 per semester

The ASTP Master’s program is organized into three interconnected thematic blocks, designed to build both your technical and professional profile step by step:

• 1st semester: Focus on advanced automotive technologies and intercultural communication
• 2nd semester: Emphasis on management, leadership, and quality assurance
• 3rd semester: Specialization in vehicle communication systems and a hands-on industry internship, during which you’ll also complete your Master’s thesis

Your internship and thesis are completed in cooperation with national or international companies in the automotive sector — ensuring real-world relevance and valuable industry experience.

To help you start strong, the program begins with a team-building event. Through shared cultural presentations, you’ll build connections, intercultural awareness, and a strong group dynamic from day one.

Free German course: ASTP students can join a free German language course from the first semester — perfect for daily life, internships, and preparing for your Master’s thesis.

The ASTP Master’s program equips you with the skills to take on leadership roles in the global after-sales industry. You’ll learn to apply your knowledge in a practical, interdisciplinary, and solution-oriented way — whether locally or internationally.

In addition to strong technical and managerial expertise, you’ll develop intercultural competence, preparing you to collaborate confidently with business partners around the world.

A key part of the program is the industry internship, giving you valuable hands-on experience, early access to potential employers, and the chance to build or strengthen your professional network.

This opens the door to exciting career opportunities — including sectors beyond automotive, as after sales is a growing strategic field in many industries worldwide.

• Completed undergraduate studies in engineering (from a university or university of applied sciences), comprising at least 7 semesters / 210 ECTS credits
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related technical field
• Good command of English (language of instruction)
• German language skills at A2 level at the time of application
• German language skills at B1 level before starting the internship (during or after the 3rd semester)
• A minimum of one year of practical experience in a technical field
